WAYNE LEE BROWN

(January 9, 1963  -  March 31, 2017)

Funeral services for Wayne Lee Brown, of Clute, will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Evergreen Baptist Church, 635 Highland Park, Clute, Texas 77531 where Rev. Anthony Ray Bonner is Pastor and Officiator.  Burial will follow at Gulf Coast Cemetery, in Clute.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm also at the Church.

Wayne was born on January 9, 1963 in Freeport, Texas to Leroy Brown and Betty (Bryant) Brown and passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 in Sugarland surrounded by his loving family.

He graduated from Brazoswood High School.  He worked several years in food service managing Wendy's, Sonic, Church's Chicken and Jack in the Box.  In later years, he worked in the medical profession as a Dialysis Tech.  He was a lover of life.  His most favorite pastime was playing Dominoes and spending time with family and friends especially with his Grandmother and Aunts.  He was known for his great cooking.  Baking was his specialty.  His kind and gentle spirit will live on in the lives of those he loved and that loved him.

Preceding Wayne in death are his parents; maternal grandparents, Sam and Flora Bryant; paternal grandfather, Sterling Brown; and several aunts and uncles.  

Left with cherished memories are his two brothers, Leroy Brown, Jr. of Houston and Waintheus Brown of Stafford, two sisters, Jean (Jason) Williams of Dickinson and Dianne (Harry) Fields of Brazoria; grandmother Susie Beverly of Brazoria; six Aunts, Pearl Granville of San Diego, CA, Dorothy Mouton of Houston, Leola Beverly King of Van Vleck, Dorothy Bryant and Lillie Lunford of Clute and Mary (Hillup) Darthard of Freeport; three Uncles, Joe Beverly of Freeport, Robert (CoSandra) Beverly of West Columbia, and Eugene Beverly of Brazoria; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.

Final arrangements entrusted to and under the direction of E. Viola & Son Funeral Home, 205 N. Broad Street, West Columbia, Texas 77486.
