Christopher Barnes

(July 26, 1962 - March 1, 1980)

Chris Barnes died March 1, 1980 in a motorcycle-automobile accident in Clute, Texas.  Chris was a Junior at Brazoswood High School when he died.  Chris was a member of the JV Buccaneer football team.  He was also a member of Law Enforcement Explorer Post 351 in Clute where he had held the rank of Sergeant and Lieutenant of that post.  He was also a part-time employee of the Clute Police Department. Chris was given a full police funeral in honor of the work he had given to the department.
